Every recommendation across our network follows the same process:

Hands-on research first

Editors test products directly when possible, and rely on primary sources — manufacturer specifications, marine and RV industry trade publications, and verified owner feedback — when in-person testing isn't practical for the category.

Picks are chosen before commercial considerations

We select what to recommend based on the editorial team's category research. Affiliate availability is checked after the pick is made, not before.

Affiliate disclosure on every page

When we link to a retailer, the page discloses the relationship. We earn commissions on qualifying purchases, and that commission does not change what we recommend.

Corrections are public
